Metamorphosis has taken many forms and truly “metamorphosed” the past decade. Starting as a small grassroots clothing swap in Orlando, we eventually offered a mobile pop-up boutique with FREE fashionable clothing, Peer Counseling, Mentorship for youth who wanted to start their own chapters or initiatives, and, most recently, Transitional Housing for foster youth in Philadelphia.

We were blessed to be able to support in Brooklyn, Philadelphia & the greater Philadelphia area, and Orlando. Our chapters turned into their own respective projects, and we are so grateful for that! But we are looking to restart our mutual aid work again, this time in Omaha….

Our first initiative?

An alternative co-living arrangement for solo moms & their children. Commonly referred to as “Mommunes,” this style of intentional living is becoming more and more common.

We will be calling our initiative

NEST to represent the shared sacred and safe space we are co-creating for families

Similar to our model in Philadelphia,

TRANSCEND, where we explored an alternative Airbnb-based transitional housing program for foster youth aging out of the system

We will explore housing for vulnerable populations. This time, solo parent households instead of foster youth.
